I wrote this comic in response to the question posed after reading my friend Peggy Moss's book, One of Us, with Dora. I asked Dora what the book was about, and she said, "A girl who is brave because she tries hard to be herself." I thought about ways I might be brave, and realized that I am bravest when I am writing.

Peggy's book is great. I loved reading it with my eight-year old girl.
